I registered my blog today at ql.things@gmail.com. I also learned how to play with the appearance of my blog, experimenting on colors, font, text, etc. I hope that my colleagues will read my blog and post helpful comments and suggestions on how to improve it. It will be exciting to establish a cyber connection with them and communicate on a more professional level. I always believe that learning is a two-way traffic. you have to give in order to receive. You have to share and express your thoughts and feelings so that others may be affected by it. In return, you learn from them and you also learn a good deal about yourself.

I remembered a simple quotation, "If you can dream it, you can become it. If you can become it you can achieve it."

CREATIVEMIND

I'm glad, I'm on . . . just completed the second item of Learning 2.0 and created my own blog. I found it simple and not very intimidating. Blogging is a new thing for me. I called my blog, "CREATIVEMIND". I'd like this blog to be a venue or arena of creative thinkers where we can express, discuss and explore things and ideas.

In joining this program, I hope to learn, discover and accomplish a lot of things, and to become familiar with blogging, podcasting, on line courses, video and film making, etc. I'm not very good in computer technology but I'm very much interested to learn more about it.

The first part of the program is very informative. It sets the tone of formulating and achieving your goals. It provides a lot of optimism and motivation for you to join, jump on board and have fun. The 7 & 1/2 Habits online turotial is also very useful. I found the 7 & 1/2 Habits easy to follow except Habit number 6: Use technology to your advantage. Like I said, I'm not a computer savy type of guy, computer is one of my weaknesses.
